Agamemnon
Agamemnon is a very prideful catcher in the Trojan War. he as even willing to sacrifice his own daughter Iphigenia "....the king's nature could not bear the reproach of failure ...."(p.30) He is a heartless as the quote says.
Iphigenia
Iphigenia was a young and beautiful lady but her father Agamemnon had to take the her life. Even the swift footed Achilles tried to save her. Iphigenia is not actually dead "Only the gods knew that what seemed her lifeless body was really that of a fawn..."(p.30)
Calchas
Calchas is the soothsayer for Agamemnon. Calchas is the the one who told Agamemnon that needed to make a sacrifice . Iphigenia her daughter was to be the sacrifice, to change the winds. Chalchas is a very kind person "Your daughter, Iphigenia" answered the prophet with his to the ground".(p.28)
